PRIVATE LESSON – 50 minutes

As a new or continuing student, it is recommended that you take a private lesson. This personal session is extremely beneficial to new students, taking into account any injuries or issues in your body that may need to be addressed so you practice according to your ability. Current students can refine and enhance their practice with a private based on poses specific to your needs.

Your personal yoga sessions will be specifically tailored to your physical, mental and spiritual needs.  Your personal yoga trainer will allow you to explore your individual development and assist you in finding peace, happiness and satisfaction in life.

 

Training sessions include:

·          Modifying and refining alignment in poses

·          Stress relief

·          Meditation and mindful awareness

Sessions are 50 min. Includes a free consult via phone, email or in person prior to first visit to personalize your sessions.

·          Checking account autobill drafts from your checking account on or shortly after the 18th of every month.

·          Credit card autobill will incur a $4.00 additional fee per month and will be charged to your card on or shortly after the 15th of every month.

Cancellation policy: 

·          Minimum of 15 days notice in writing before your next withdrawal

·          Cancellations prior to three months will incur a $25 processing fee.

·          Renewals after cancellation will incur a $25 processing fee. 

 

Overdraft fee:

·          There will be a $25 fee for insufficient funds.

 

Already have a current package or want to start up in the middle of a billing period?

No problem!  We can prorate the current month at the special price and your Best Value Package will start the following month.  Just make payment to us by cash, check or credit card.  If we owe you money your first month will be deducted the difference from your Autobill.

Style of classes 

The main style of yoga practiced at Inner Sun is Vinyasa Flow. Vinyasa Flow yoga incorporates fluid movements with deep, rhythmic breathing. Linking movement with breath enhances the health benefits of each pose including greater muscular strength and tone, increased flexibility and joint mobility improved circulation and hormonal balance.  When the body and breath are unified and inspired by Spiritual intention, the practice becomes meditation in motion. You can then connect to your “inner sun” or spiritual heart and open your heart to create a more focused and calm state of awareness and peace. 

 

Which class is for me?

Classes at Inner Sun are mixed with male and female students of all ages, injured or healthy, practiced and new.  Yoga is not about levels or rating your practice, but about joining with your own effort and being.  Everyone is at a different stage in their practice day to day.  Modifications and variations of poses are shown in all of our classes so you can adjust to your individual needs.  You work to your own potential by using your breath and body to still your mind.

100_1809There are no levels in yoga! 

Everyone from beginner thru advanced is encouraged to work at their own pace.  On any given day, depending on how you feel, you may need to practice at a modified pace or with more intensity.  The teacher will guide you through variations of poses to suite your specific needs.

 

Our classes do vary in intensity and heat.  As a new student to yoga, it is best for you to begin with our beginner workshop, yoga private or our Gentle and Slow Flow drop-in classes.

      PLEASE:

·          Wear non-restrictive clothing.

·          Plan on being barefoot.

·          Be ready to warm environment.

THAI YOGA

 

Some people call Traditional Thai Yoga “Lazy Man’s Yoga” because the therapist is skilled at supporting the client in stretches that are yoga poses.  The therapist works energy lines, called Sen Lines in Thai, while the client is in the pose, which has a synergistic effect in opening and energizing the body.  Clients who practice yoga often find that regular Thai Yoga sessions enhance their practice, allowing them to stretch and open more quickly and avoid injury.

Your yoga party in our studio consists of a one-hour long private yoga session and ½ hour after class for time to serve your refreshments that you provide and open gifts. Longer sessions are available, and we customize the program to fit your needs.  Off-site yoga party is a one-hour private yoga session at your location.  Please make sure you have ample room for the group and a safe environment.
